LEVINÁLE brings Ukrainian cinema to Vienna!

We screen films you don’t often get to see in cinemas and connect you with the people behind them. New films, fresh perspectives, and plenty of stories worth discovering.

WHY DO WE DO IT?

Because Ukrainian cinema has so much to offer – and we believe more people should discover it! We want to showcase films that surprise you, move you, make you laugh, or simply stay with you long after the credits roll. And we want to give the people behind these films a platform to share their work.

WHAT’S ON?

From drama to comedy, from documentaries to animation – we’ve got it all! We screen short films and feature films, works by established filmmakers and exciting new talents. Sometimes funny, sometimes serious, sometimes completely unexpected. There’s always something new to discover!

MORE THAN JUST FILMS

Watching a film is great. Meeting the people who made it? Even better! At LEVINÁLE, you can meet directors and filmmakers, ask questions, and join conversations after the screenings.

CINEMA THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

By attending the festival, you’re also doing something good! Your visit helps support a Christmas charity initiative for children from Ukraine’s frontline regions.
